Scanning solutions like Copyscape or attributor are better for that. Tynt is designed to help you benefit from the 'casual infringer', generally someone who is a fan of your content and copies and shares pieces of it with their friends via email, facebook, twitter or their own blog. The automatic Tynt attribution link will create more links and traffic within this group of users.
