eVENALICIUM on TwitterOn Twitter things change fast. So fast indeed that 2 months since my last Twitter post  Tweet Tweet Tweet, I now find the need to update it. I’m sure there will be more to write about on this topic in the coming months.

So here we go with my current favourites -

eVENALICIUM recommend TweetizenTweetizen – Is absolutely without a doubt the coolest twitter widget I have found so far – (and believe me I’ve looked at a lot). There are many different widgets to put on your site, to show your updates – Tweetizen is different:

“Tweetizen is a simple web-based tool designed to help you filter the daily influx of tweets, and easily find the ones that are relevant to you.”

By simply embedding a few lines of code on this site, we created a Twitter page. Easy and painless our page was complete! With Tweetizen we created a group to stream our 3 twitter accounts all in the one place. Easily create a group of your top people, business partners, family members etc. Group tweets about a specific topic, for example a #tag, charity, seminar, business etc. Very simple and very effective – check Tweetizen out.

eVENALICIUM recommend TweetizenTwitterfeed – Send your blog posts out to twitter automatically – save yourself some time by setting up your account and get real time stats about the clicks on the shortened URLs (links). Want to send your blog post to more places than just Twitter? No problem – with Twitterfeed you can send your link to ping.fm – and then out to any sites you choose, including – Twitter, Facebook, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, FriendFeed, MySpace, Plurk, Delicious, Skype and many more.

eVENALICIUM recommend TwitterCoTweet (in beta) – Right now this is my favourite way of managing multiple Twitter accounts at the same time. I am very confident that this will be my long term choice.

To give you an overview of it’s functionality I am quoting directly from their website below.

CoTweet is how business does twitter CoTweet is a platform that helps companies reach and engage customers using Twitter.

Engage people throughout your company Share the job of being on duty. Tap the collective wisdom of people across functional areas like marketing, PR and customer service. Assign tasks and track followups.

Focus on the conversations that matter Know when you need to jump in. Track your exchanges through simple case management. Schedule updates to make company announcements.

Keep your brand human Automatically include signatures in your updates to identify who’s talking and keep conversations personal.

A feature I really find powerful and worth mentioning is the real time stats on shortened URLs in tweets. Including tweets by those you follow. This is a very insightful function. A great way for you to see what links get clicked and what doesn’t. Imagine keeping track of what is working for your competition and tweaking your marketing accordingly to give you a competitive edge.

I’m sure you can see the power of this great tool and how it will save you time and money.

A couple of favourites from my last twitter post still include;

eVENALICIUM recommend TweetPasteTweetpaste – Allowing you to paste tweets in your blog.

Twitterkeys – Insert icons into your tweets.

Remember, Twitter is all about building relationships and nurturing that connection, so enjoy the conversation!
